The days of this siren seem like they're numbered for this old Whelen as it's the last standing and functioning 3000 in the entire county, and it so happens to be in the very town where my interest in sirens began almost 17 years ago.
Today would've been another 17 years since Dan filmed what would've been the north Redford thunderbolt 1000, which unfortunately failed, and to put the final nail in the coffin the video never made it to YouTube and ended up getting deleted, so I came here instead.
