Following up on the last video I put out and putting those recommendations into action. If you're new to the hobby and don't want to invest a TON of money into finding out if it's for you, this is an excellent first step.
Ingredients:
2.35 lbs of Clover Honey
1 packet of baker's yeast hulls (boiled)
1 Apple (I used Fuji, use what you like, and feel free to use more)
.5 oz raisins (whole or chopped)
2 allspice berries
1 star anise
1 small stick of cinammon
1 Packet of Montrachet yeast
Initial Gravity is 1.096, I was shooting for 1.110. Some honey stuck to the funnel, which may account for the discrepancy.
