✨Perioral dermatitis is a skin condition that causes a rash around the mouth, nose, and eyes.
✨ Some possible causes include:
❄️Overuse of topical steroid creams or ointments, which can disrupt the skin's natural balance and lead to inflammation.
❄️Use of toothpaste; fluoride free toothpaste (COLGATE SUPER SHAKTI TOOTHPASTE) can be used .
❄️Use of other topical skin care products, such as moisturizers or makeup, that can irritate the skin or cause an allergic reaction.
❄️Hormonal changes, such as those that occur during pregnancy or menopause.
❄️Bacterial or fungal infections, such as candida.
❄️Exposure to environmental factors, such as wind or cold weather.
✨It is not fully understood what causes perioral dermatitis, and it can be difficult to pinpoint a specific trigger.
✨It's a difficult to treat condition & sometimes dermatitis triggered by the simplest trigger can take 6 months or even more for complete treatment.
