Around Seokchon Lake Dongho, a lot of trendy restaurants that the younger generation are passionate about are starting to appear. This place, called ‘Songridan-gil’, refers to an alley where small cafes and unique restaurants have been concentrated in the past two years.

It became a resting place for Songpa-gu residents, and as Jamsil-gil north of Dongho became an underground passageway, it connected directly to Lotte World Tower. Compared to lakes created in new towns since the 1990s, the size of the lake is small and there are no squares, but it has good accessibility from residential areas. And above all, it is a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing.
The track length is just right for walking exercise, and it is also good for running after installing the elastic mat. The scenery while walking around is also changing, so it is not boring. The sum of the circumferences of the east and west lakes is about 2500 meters, and it is about 5 km if you make two turns. Children can only exercise on one lake, the elderly once on both lakes, and adults on both sides of the lake can be said to have a suitable amount of exercise. . For reference, on the track, the distance is displayed in units of 100 m from the lake cafe opposite the entrance to Lotte World Adventure in West Lake, making it easy to calculate the momentum. The easternmost side of Dongho is a short distance from the Bangi-dong Food Alley, so it's good to eat out after enjoying a walk.
Numerous cherry trees are scattered around the promenade surrounding the edge of the lake, and in April every year during the cherry blossom season, people come to see the cherry blossoms, forming a long line. Along with Yunjung-ro in Yeouido, it is a representative cherry blossom spot in Seoul, and the Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year.
