Hans Brandeis, ethnomusicologist from Germany gives an inspirational talk for the Kuglung Papagtigum 2020, a tribal festival of boat lute players of the Manobo tribes of Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines. Held at Iglugsad, San Fernando, Bukidnon, on October 10, 2020.
The recordings of Bukidnon and Tigwahanon music mentioned in the video are copyrighted and not publicly released yet. If you are in Berlin, you can presently only listen to them at the ethnomusicological archives of the Museum for Ethnology.
