In this week’s tip, I share my top boating safety advice — including why I always carry a jump starter, how to manage your fuel properly, and the battery checks I never skip before heading out.

Make sure you have enough fuel ⛽️. I think one of the most important things to keep in your boat is a jump-start device. Just in case you have a flat battery. They are amazing. I bought my device from Battery Pro in Mackay, and I always buy all my batteries for my two boats from them as well. Terrific people to deal with and are always helpful with any advice I might need.
