Do you practice blending markers and yet never seem to get smooth, silky blends? The trick to good blending isn't skill, technique, or great blending combinations. You're missing the obvious-- your markers are probably too dry to blend!

Illustrator and art instructor, Amy Shulke shares a vital lesson for anyone who uses Copic or other brands of alcohol marker. If you wait until a marker squeaks or looks streaky, not only does your blending suffer, you also run the risk of damaging your marker beyond repair.
