Lens flares!
Pointing a camera at the sun will always cause lens flares, some seem fixed others aren’t.
The finger test or rotating the camera is a good way to always check for lens flares.
The more layers you add to the lens the more flares you create.
Most smart phone cameras have a lined lens inside which can also cause a fixed lens flare.
