About the house:

The Clinton Residence (also known as the Forum Drive safehouse) is the first safehouse used by protagonist Franklin Clinton in Grand Theft Auto V, and also appears in Grand Theft Auto Online.

It is located on Forum Drive, Chamberlain Hills, and is unlocked after Franklin and Lamar.

The safehouse is a single-story bungalow in which the player can save their game in Franklin's bedroom, on the first door to the left of the front door. Across the hallway is a small living room with a television that can be interacted with and a supply of joints that Franklin can take a hit from. The living room leads on to a small kitchen, where Franklin can drink a beer or use a first-aid kit.

The interior of the house is characterized by its retro design and decorated with various spiritual and tribal ornaments and artwork. A garage can be found to the left of the property, which is large enough to store one car and one motorcycle.

At the beginning of the game, Franklin Clinton lives here with his aunt Denise, after they inherited the house in Franklin's grandmother's will. A short time later, Franklin agrees to take care of Chop, a Rottweiler belonging to his friend Lamar Davis, and Chop soon starts living at the house with Franklin and Denise.

Following Franklin's move to 3671 Whispymound Drive, Vinewood Hills after The Hotel Assassination, the house is turned into a 'center for women' by Denise Clinton and the house and garage is made inaccessible to the player.

About the game:

Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.

Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based on Southern California, the single-player story follows three protagonists—retired bank robber Michael De Santa, street gangster Franklin Clinton, and drug dealer and arms smuggler Trevor Philips—and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful criminals. The open world design lets players freely roam San Andreas' open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles.

A new version, commonly referred to as "Expanded & Enhanced", was announced in June 2020. Released on 15 March 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, it features technical enhancements and performance updates. The PC version received the enhancements in a free update on 4 March 2025.
