Why does Striker HATE Hell's Royalty in Helluva Boss?

Striker is an interesting character, and there’s a fan theory that could explain his backstory and what motivates him. Let me explain.

So we’ve seen striker develop throughout the show. In harvest moon festival he was a smooth talking hired gun, but in recent episodes we found out that he has a deep hatred for hell’s royalty. He’s very similar to blitz in a way, like a glimpse of what could happen if blitz went down a different path.

In particular we find out that striker hates royalty because they took everything from him. When fans discussed this on twitter a while ago, both vivzie and edward bosco liked tweets on the topic, perhaps emphasizing that striker’s anger stems from grief and loss.

If we put two and two together, it’s pretty clear that striker has experienced something that sent him over the edge.. Either his partner, family or children were killed either accidentally or deliberately by hell’s royalty. He’s literally and figuratively lost everything, and this is what motivates him in his battle against fizz and blitz. We’ll definitely see striker’s story unfold in a flashback in a future season.
