The body of Joy, aged 47 and from Marayamuttom, was recovered on Monday, nearly two days after he went missing while cleaning waste in the Amayizhanchan canal. His body was discovered by two health and sanitation workers beneath the Uppidamoodu iron bridge in the Pazhavangadi area, approximately one kilometer from the canal.
