In a CNBC interview, Warren Buffett said he never met Jeffrey Epstein and sought distance to avoid learning details.

CBS News reported Bill Gates was asked to appear before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee regarding the Epstein investigation.

Gates has denied wrongdoing, saying meetings were for philanthropy, and a spokesperson said he acknowledged a serious error in judgment and was not part of Epstein’s criminal activity.

Buffett, a longtime donor to the Gates Foundation, stepped down as trustee in 2021 and has contributed over $43 billion since 2006, while pausing his usual June donation this year.
