The schematic for this Pro-Log PLS-881 single board computer is safely in KiCAD and the final chips have been identified. Fortunately, there were no surprises or exotic chips that could have sunk the whole effort.
However, now i need to deal with the corroded sockets, it turns out that most if not all of the sockets were in poor condition and would not be reliable. So this has now turned into a little bit of a rework project to remove and replace all the sockets.
