My wife, after working out how to make this work and finding no videos online, created this and wanted to post it to my existing YT account to get it 'out there'.
This type of spool pin has a wide base that fits over the top of the bobbin winder. She bought from A plus quality sewing machine parts on eBay Australia. The item is https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265629054131 which will probably fit most brands of sewing machine. Two spool pins came in a plastic box.
