St Perpetua & Saint Felicitas were murdered for being Christians. Their deaths are believed to have been in 203AD, at the beginning of the 3rd century, during a time of crisis for Christians in the Roman Empire. A married noblewoman and a young mother, Vibia Perpetua and a slave Felicity were imprisoned and then killed at Carthage. Their murders were part of the celebrations for Emperor Septimius Severus's birthday. Brothers Paul and Mathew Backholer visited for ByFaith TV.
