Reports suggest that much of this violence was perpetrated by supporters of President Museveni and certain security agencies, while access to the internet was restricted.
There is a pressing need for the nation to understand the full scope of these events. In this context, NTV Uganda has produced investigative reports that provide a harrowing account of the killings and unrest that took place. Additionally, Honorable Namugga Gorretti, representing Mawogola County, has used her social media platforms consistently to highlight the lawlessness carried out by individuals reportedly protected by the government.
The central question arising from these events remains: when will the victims receive justice, and can the nation move forward without accountability?
