First Ever Mario Kart 64 Custom Track

Описание: This is an entirely new level hacked into Mario Kart 64. It's still kinda ugly because I haven't given it any real graphics yet (and the video quality doesn't help), but it's playable. It completely replaces Rainbow Road, except for the floating faces in the sky. To my knowledge this is the first custom MK64 track ever made.

NO, THIS MUSIC IS NOT ACTUALLY IN THE GAME. (Yet...) The song is My Only Star by Susan Bell.

Lakitu says I'm going the wrong way because I haven't updated the path information. It doesn't harm anything.

In addition to the new track I increased all characters' maximum speeds and installed a simple ASM hack to fade the track in and out.

Yes, this took a LOT of work. I've been working on it on and off since late 2005, reverse-engineering the level formats, tracing code, writing a level viewer, etc. Just designing the track, once I had all the necessary information and tools, took about 3 days. All of this was done by manually entering coordinates and graphic commands in a hex editor. (Hence the lack of curves. ;-)) I'd like to thank Miki Takahashi for motivating me to finally finish this.

(Yes, I'm aware of the lack of depth testing and my website probably being down. These will be fixed shortly.)

There is no editor or patch available yet; they will be on my website when they're done.
