Jane Dwinell is a seasoned gardener (as well as a four-time author and a moderator of the Deep Adaptation Facebook Group). This year, her garden crops failed because of flooding and an early frost in Vermont, where she lives. She, along with many others, is living in the early stages of collapse.
Jane joins me to describe the devastation wrought by the floods, which swept away bridges, inundated local farms and businesses, and brought state government to a halt. As the seasons become more unpredictable, it is hard to know what "normal" life is supposed to look like.
