In this video I'm helping out my dad with replacing the actuator on his VW Scirocco Fuel tank flap. Some of the VW models including Golf's and Tiguan's have issues with the fuel flaps sticking and not opening. This video should help you fix it. Good luck.

Always best to check the part is right for your model. I believe this is suitable for VW:Golf 5 (1K) Variant 2007 - 2009, Golf 6 (5K) Variant 2010 - 2014, Scirocco 2009 - on,Tiguan (5N) 2008 - 2015
I am assuming the fitting for a Golf and Tiguan would be similar to the Scirocco but don't hate on me if I am wrong!
