Slap-On Mod: Dover/Ceder Hydraulic Elevator/Lift - Jefferson County Public Library - Madison, IN

Описание: This is an old Dover/Ceder that had Black Buttons (similar to Trinity United Methodist Church a few doors down). It was slapped on with Adams in the late 90s, with the 1st floor call stations being replaced with Adams Designer, and the interior buttons being replaced with Adams Classic. The call stations on the other floors, as well as the interior indicator, and the motor are still original. Directional chimes and a floor passing chime were added as well. The cab was very nicely remodeled not long ago it appears as well. This building is also split level.

On a side note, my dad, who was born and raised in the town of Madison, went here a lot when he was younger. It’s nice to see another interesting elevator in his hometown, especially in a building that has notable family history.

Also, that steeple in the background of the picture of the building in my thumbnail is at Trinity United Methodist Church a few doors down. They have an old Dover/Ceder with Black Buttons as I mentioned above.
