Описание:
In this video, we perform IoT Lab Experiment 4 (BCS701) for VTU 7th Semester – 22 Scheme, where we control a DC motor using the Arduino board.
🔹 Objective:
To interface a DC motor with Arduino and control its ON/OFF state and rotation using a motor driver or transistor circuit.
🔹 Concepts Covered:
Working of DC motors
Using NPN transistor or L293D/L298N motor driver IC
Flyback diode concept for motor protection
Motor speed control using PWM (optional)
Direction control using motor driver
IoT applications in automation and robotics
🔹 Components Required:
Arduino UNO
DC Motor
L293D / L298N Motor Driver OR NPN transistor
Flyback diode
External power supply (if needed)
Jumper wires & breadboard
This experiment builds the foundation for IoT-based automation systems, such as robotic control, smart appliances, and home automation motors.
