Ethiopia's government has announced it will begin production of crude oil on Thursday.
The prime minister says 450 barrels of crude oil will be produced per day as part of a test production scheme.
Ultimately the country hopes to earn a revenue of 8 billion dollars per year, upon reaching full production capacity.
