Описание: We use percutaneous cryoablation for pancreatic cancer for 2 purposes. First is to relieve cancer-related severe pain in the abdomen and back. We do cryoablation together with celiac ganglion block to obtain the best possible result. Second is to achieve local control in stage 3 patients. Cryoablation can kill about 80% of the tumor located in the pancreas. To enhance its effect we recommend external beam radiotherapy after the cryoablation. Cryoablation of pancreas is a minimally invasive procedure done under local anesthesia and CT guidance. The patient may return to normal life one day after the procedure.
