I feel like the light stands I've kept on hand have been pretty flimsy. I had some smaller aluminum stands from Impact and even the bigger spring cushioned ones but I found myself wanting the strength of a c-stand in a portable and compact size. I think I finally found it.
The Impact Wheeled Light Stand at 8.5' folds up perfectly for bringing with me on the go but also takes up very little real estate in my video production studio. I found this as a recommendation from a friend and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger to buy a used one.
