🐟 The River's fury

Starting the quest:
Region: Kaifeng — at Fishwood River / Eternal Solitude Hall.
Unlock: Talk to the Wayfarer of Roaring Sands to start tracking the quest in the Kaifeng Exploration menu.
Trigger: Enter the Eternal Solitude Hall to begin.

Quest progression:

1. Introduction & Items
Inside the hall, a cutscene plays with the Eccentric Elder.
Use Wind Sense to spot two anomalies: Vial and Dusty Spirit Tablet.
Give one of them to the Elder to progress, then bow three times before the statue to open a secret path downward.

2. Underground & Water Puzzles
You drop into a vast underground water-filled complex.
The core mechanic involves pressure plates / slabs and using the Tai Chi mystic skill to redirect water streams onto water wheels to manipulate water levels. This reveals new paths deeper into the ruins.
Expect multiple water-control puzzles, diving sections, and chained contraptions that you must solve in order.

3. Exploration & Key Fragments
Along the way, you’ll find:
Hidden chests (some requiring Celestial Seize or careful swimming).
Hetu Fragment and later a Luoshu Fragment — used to repair broken “Water Dragonhead” mechanisms so you can drain larger sections.
These segments loop back and require water to be redirected multiple times to open new gates and chambers.

4. Reaching the Spirit
After fixing the major mechanisms and draining the final chamber, you free the river spirit A’Yu.
You’ll collect the Nuo Dance Mask and Red Fish Sword from the altar — equipping them is required to interact with A’Yu’s encounter.
With the mask & sword equipped, the encounter becomes manageable: attack until the spirit is defeated.

5. Final Chamber & Finish
After defeating A’Yu, proceed to the Final Burial Chamber to open the chest and inspect ancient remains.
Exit and bow at the statue in Eternal Solitude Hall to complete the quest.
