In this heartfelt talk, Jenny shares decades of experience with Montessori education, highlighting its power to nurture individuality, self-confidence, and deep learning.
Emphasizing Maria Montessori’s vision, the talk explores how Montessori environments support children from early years to adolescence—helping them grow into independent, compassionate, and adaptable adults. The talk offered strong reasons why Montessori education is important not just in the early years, but also through the elementary and adolescent stages. Jenny emphasized Montessori’s core belief that children represent the hope and promise of humanity. If we aim to build a better, more peaceful, and cooperative world, we must begin with children—especially adolescents. They have the potential to shape the future, but only if we create the right environments that allow them to grow and thrive.
Inspired by the quote “All of us are born as originals, but most of us die as copies,” she underscores the Montessori belief in nurturing the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Education, in this view, is an aid to life, not just a means to pass exams. It’s a compelling reminder that true education is not about conformity, but about unlocking the unique potential within every child.
