It’s mid-October, there’s still no frost in sight here in Michigan, and I just can’t wait any longer — so let’s see if we can grow full bulbs of garlic entirely indoors.

We’ll test three container sizes (1 gallon, 2 gallon, and a big/deep pot) to see how soil depth affects garlic root growth and bulb size. I’ll walk through soil prep, sulfur addition for flavor and sulfur nutrition, and how I adapted my setup for an indoor growing environment.
