In July 2023, Inger and I hiked the famous Romsdalseggen ridge. The 13 km long hike from Vegedalen to Åndalsnes is a very popular and scenic hike. Along the ridge you get an excellent view of the valley of Romsdalen.
You can hike both with or without a guide. We did, as we always do, hike without a guide.
We also did the detour to the highest peak on the ridge, Blånebba, 1320 masl.
You can easily get a bus to the starting point in Vegedalen.
If you don't want to hike the steep descent down to Åndalsnes you can take the cable car.
