The much anticipated first meeting of Tornado and Flying Scotsman - two of the most famous steam locomotives in the world finally took place at the Severn Valley Railway during the one-off special event 'Pacific Power' from the 22nd to the 26th September 2016.
Tickets to travel on the trains hauled by Tornado and Flying Scotsman sold out in just seven hours, five months earlier! I was one of the lucky 7,000 people to get a ticket to travel behind these two steam icons.
This video focuses on my round trip behind these two locomotives, but also features some line side shot of both locomotives
Several other Severn Valley Railway engines, including 7812 'Elestoke Manor', 34027 'Taw Valley' and 34053 'Sir Keith Park' also sneek into shot!
