The Tremors Will Return in 2010's Smokin Aces: Assassins Ball, Formerly known as Smokin Aces 2: Blowback. Smokin Aces Assassins Ball will be released on Janurary 19, 2010 on DVD and Blu Ray.

Darwin and Jeeves Tremor, respectively played by Chris Pine and Kevin Durand, will NOT be back. They were stated to have returned, but negotiations fell through. Maury Sterling will return as Lester Tremor in the new 2010 flick.

The only mention of Darwin and Jeeves Tremor in "Assassins Ball", is a brief moment when Fritz Tremor mentions how Lester would rather be with them, and trying to take over the family name with his two brothers.

In the ORIGINAL DRAFT for Smokin Aces 2, it is mentioned that Darwin and Jeeves are both in prison while Lester is running around with his family. However, this obvisouly wasnt used, due to either choice of mysterious abscence from the film, or due to budgets.

The New Tremors in the 2010 Blowback will be Fritz Tremor, played by Michael Parks, who is supposedly their Father. There is Kaitlin 'AK-47' Tremor, played by Autumn Reeser, who is their sister and Baby Boy Tremor, another Brother to the family, played by Canadian actor C. Ernst Harth.

Federal agents once again match wits with a cadre of creative killers in the high-octane feature-length film Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball. Walter Weed (Tom Berenger) is an unassuming desk jockey at the FBI when the Bureau uncovers a plot to assassinate him. A team of degenerate, psychotic assassins dispatched by mystery man Hal Leuco to win a huge bounty includes a resourceful beauty who has a unique method of killing her prey (Martha Higareda), a power-tool wielding psychopath (Vinnie Jones) and a deadly master of disguise (Tommy Flanagan). Also in the hunt is the fan-favorite Tremor family from the original film, featuring nymphomaniacal gun-nut (Autumn Reeser) and her lethal kinfolk (Maury Sterling, Michael Parks and C. Ernst Harth). Baker (Clayne Crawford), the agent in charge of the operation, puts himself and his team in the line of fire to defend Weed, but it's not until the smoke clears on the film's explosive climax that the surprising identity of the plot's mastermind is revealed.

These new characters were supposed to be mentioned in the original "Smokin Aces" film. During the scene of the rooftop interrogation between Hollis Elmore and Darwin Tremor, Darwin was supposed to mention to Hollis that he had more family members.

This, however, was eventually cut-out and the dialogue was changed.

There have also been rumors, even from Cast members, saying that there was a longer "Hotel Lobby Shootout" scene involving a longer fight sequence with the Tremors. At one point, actor involved with the film, Zach Cumer, posted on his IMDB account that an "Unrated/Directors Cut" of the film was going to be released.

This seems highly unlikely due to the fact that Smokin Aces: Assassins Ball had a coincidental release with Smokin Aces on Blu Ray, in which usually extra bonus content is usually released.


Chris Pine, Kevin Durand, and Maury Sterling Will Return.
