A helicopter of the LAPD is landing on a rooftop. It is in charge of recovering the criminal Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez). However, a sniper shoots the helicopter, which loses control and crashes and explodes. The police repatriate Alex Montel.
The FBI arrives at the scene of the crash and takes stock of the explosion.
Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction and Captain Marvel) along with the other police officers in the squad must find out who the sniper is and where he is hiding.

What’s the movie S.W.A.T about?
Hondo Harrelson (Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction and Captain Marvel) recruits Jim Street (Colin Farrell from Total Recall and The Batman) to join an elite unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. The two wisecracking, battle-hardened veterans seek out more members, including Deke Kay (LL Cool J) and Chris Sanchez (Michelle Rodriguez from the Fast and Furious saga), a single mom. Hondo and Jim want to form the most freewheeling but effective S.W.A.T team ever.
Their first big assignment is to transport Alex Montel (Olivier Martinez), an international crime boss into federal custody. The mission is not going to be easy since the criminal has offered $100 million to anyone who will free him!
