I recently upgraded the CPU and did so unknowing how much of a difference the x3d version would make in large scale PVP, as the other channels solely focused on flightpaths/sitting on steps in the city.
Recorded with AMD ReLive. Losing about 10% of performance when recording, and a bit of stutter (assuming due to writing on the same game drive)
The PC specs are as follows:
5800x / 5800x3d - left at stock settings with PBO on Auto
ASrock Steel Legend b550m
32gb Corsair Vengeance at 3600mhz
Gen4 SSD
XFX Swift RX 6800 (non xt) 10% overclock
Latest Windows update applied (the KB5041587 - for Ryzen CPUs improvement)
850W Corsair Gold powersupply
Corsair Capellix 150i - 360mm cooler
In total my average FPS improved by over 40%, especially in Dornogal, where I consistently get over 80fps. The FPS lows are much higher and the game feels silky smooth. Did move from 5800x to 5800x3d a few times to check and yes, massive difference.
