Cycling the coast of Corisca started with us arriving at L'ile Rousse on the North coast of Corse, France. We took our fully loaded touring bikes and found the nearest cafe that wasn't super overpriced. Corisca is a hugely popular tourist spot for mainland Europe and the French but it's less known as a place to cycle and tour for UK residents.
Corsica is stunning and it's perfect for bike touring, the rugged coasts provide some tough cycling challenges but it's so worth it, the landscape is spectacular and the beaches are out of this world.
We started off towards Calvi as our first Coriscan destination, we went inland so we could visit the town of Sant'antonino before heading towards Montemaggiore for some lunch. By the afternoon we were all set up for camping in Corsica in Calvi, we went to sunbathe then for some dinner in the old fort of Calvi.
In 2018 we did our biggest bicycle tour from Paris to Athens over 6 months. It was a big adventure that we'll never forget, this series documents the trip as we travelled across Europe on big badass fully loaded touring bikes.
