Cold facts: "Noi Bai International Airport - the biggest airport in northern Vietnam, serves the capital city of Hanoi. The airport is located 45 kilometers from the city center. The airport was originally built for the Vietnamese Air Force use. After the reunification of Vietnam in 1975 the Hanoi Noi Bai airport became an international public airport while continuing to serve for military purposes."
