I went to Gyeongju last October. I don't remember how long it's been since I visited this city, but it's been a very long time. The reason I visited this city was that tombs that rose enormously in unrealistic sizes came to mind in the peaceful field I saw here one day. Across the forest that remains in my memory, I wanted to face it. It was a good moment. I thought it was a good thing I came here. There was a sense of tranquility that it gave.

The race I visited for the first time in a long time was different from my memory. It has changed a lot in a good direction. In particular, Hwangridan-gil was a very colorful and sophisticated place to match its reputation and recognition. I could feel that not only Seoul but also Korea has changed a lot overall. Prices seem to have become that expensive, but it was quite interesting to look around. Throughout the comfortably developed city, I felt sophisticated, and I was no longer considered such a city that seemed to be cliché somewhere.

The night lights that beautifully color and illuminate ancient tombs and other cultural heritage sites were also impressive. It can be seen that lighting was used from an aesthetic point of view compared to the previous era. Thanks to this, Gyeongju's night was quite beautiful and impressive. There was a speciality that I didn't feel when I traveled to Gyeongju before. Personally, I thought that reducing the saturation of colored lights and subtly reducing the brightness of the lights overall would make the city more mysterious. In particular, when I saw the lights in the huge fields surrounding Cheomseongdae as bright as day, I thought it was impressive and a little excessive.

Anyway, I couldn't get out of this city easily. Gyeongju, a place where traces of the unrealistically huge and beautiful past breathe mysteriously in the daily space where people live.

Cheomseongdae, ancient tombs, cultural relics, restaurants, and accommodations are gathered around Hwangridan-gil, making it a good place to travel. Especially, I recommend taking a walk at night walk.
