Edit in 2024. It's worthwhile to note that during these flights my Mosquito harness was not completely set up properly. The back plate had a minor rigging problem and I was not using the waist belt strap. This is the reason I was having problems with the landings (and possibly some of the takeoffs). Some of my more recent videos have much more controlled landings (with the problems corrected). If you ever attempt to learn foot-launched powered hang gliding, please start out with a minimum of a Hang 2 free-flight hang gliding rating, and be certain to take some lessons to learn to add power to the whole thing as it changes the 'feel' of the handling significantly.
