Protesters block roads in downtown Spokane

The Spokane Police Department said three people were arrested Friday at a march downtown.
Officers said the two men and one woman were counter-protesters who were trying to start a verbal fight with some of the marchers. SPD said officers gave the counter-protesters three warnings to stop but they didn't listen.
Police say they were booked into the Spokane County Jail and face two charges each. Those charges are obstruction of a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
The crowds downtown were marching to protest Gov. Jay Inslee's vaccine mandate
Many of the signs protesters were holding said they will not comply with the vaccine mandate and it should be pro-choice.
Police say they expect to close roads. That could cause a little bit of traffic if you're heading that way.
The three counter-protesters have been booked into Spokane County Jail have been charged with obstruction of a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
