Here it is! In all it's glory! The first surviving footage of the Times Square ball drop from 1973/1974! This is unbelievable! We thought we would never find this, but as of 5/20/2018, it is finally found!

Includes host George Carlin checking on Dick Clark from Times Square, Billy Preston performing "It's A Party" until NBC cuts to the ball drop in Times Square to ring in 1974, and the celebrations in both Times Square and at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.
