Devil's Nine Questions - Mishra ft. Deepa Shakthi

Описание: Devil's Nine Questions is the first single from Mishra's new collaboration with renowned fusion artist Deepa Shakthi.

The video by Kate Griffin brings together contemporary dance in the Peak District and handmade masks inspired by the Kathakali dance tradition of south India. Kate and Deepa worked together to create the masks, using traditional colours and features to portray the Divine and Devil characters from the traditional American folk song the track is based on. Although Kathakali is traditionally a male performance, the masks have a feminine element to them. Actor and performer Cesca Grace interacts with masks, bringing women to the fore of this music video.
