With the wand of Slivias in hand, it's time to descend one final time into the deep floors beneath Waterdeep. This time, we're going straight for the mastermind of the evil below, Xanathar. We've got the right stone object to activate the gate needed to get there, we just need to find the gate in question. It may take a little bit of searching - of our inventory as well as the mind flayer floor - but Xanathar can't evade us forever.

It's here that the most deadly traps and foes are going to be presented to us. We've been fortunate enough to avoid the worst attacks that mind flayers can dish out and character death in general. This might be about to change as we step into the most deadly part of the game. With luck, the party may yet emerge from their adventure alive and in one piece.
