Lil Troy is without a doubt a Hip-Hop Legend.
In 1987, he started Short Stop Records in Houston, TX, and was responsible for discovering a lot of the musical talent in the city including the incomparable Scarface. He would also release his own multi-platinum hit “Wanna Be A Baller”
His son T2, was poised to follow in his father's footsteps and achieve music stardom however an 8-year prison sentence brought T2’s dreams to a halt.
After his son's incarceration, Troy lost his love for the music business and he began to live a civilian life working as a safety manager.
Troy would do so for 12 years until the pandemic when he was laid off for a year.
While working he had started a trucking company in 2017 that was dormant.
Being that he no longer wanted to return to work, he decided to go full-time in his company.
Troy would go and get his CDL, drive for himself and the rest as they say is history.
