Getting Ready For Ice Fishing Season

Al continues, "Although in this KastKing ice fishing video it is warm, about 90 degrees you may wonder why I’m sitting here with ice rods and an ice hut and all that. Here’s the bottom line. I think a lot of us making sure we’re ready for open water season, so all winter long we’re making sure the batteries in our boat are charged up, we’re making sure that it’s clean, we got all our gear in order, we’re putting line on our reels, and all the things that we do to make sure we’re ready for open water season. I think there’s a lot of us that probably don’t spend as much time getting ready for ice fishing. So, that’s what I’m doing tonight. I pulled out the ice hut, I’ve checked all my batteries for my ice auger, I’m checking the batteries on my depth finder, making sure I’ve got lures ready to go. And, now I’m going to be putting new line on my reels."

New KastKing Ice Fishing Products

The second ice rod in the series is the super sensitive KastKing Hard Water ice rod that is 100% IM6 graphite. Hard Water also comes with two tips. A medium action tip and a medium light action tip. It has a more traditional reel seat to mount a spinning reel or an inline reel.
