About the Workshop: This hands-on workshop introduces educators to NotebookLM, an AI-powered knowledge assistant designed to work with users’ own learning and research materials. This 2-hour immersive workshop moves participants from passive reading to active AI
collaboration. We will dive deep into creating "Digital Brains"—where your PDFs, lecture notes, and research links become an interactive ecosystem. You will learn to generate cited summaries, extract cross-document insights, and use the viral Audio Overview feature to turn dry syllabi into
engaging, podcast-style discussions. This session is designed to solve the "information overload" problem, providing educators and researchers with a secure, private, and highly precise assistant that knows your material as well as you do. Through guided demonstrations and practical
examples, educators will explore ways to transform existing materials into structured learning resources, to enhance teaching effectiveness and research productivity.

Outcomes: After attending this workshop, participants will be able to
