Yakuza 1/Kiwami spoilers! (obviously)
It's almost a shame there's no visual indication in Ares that this takes place during Christmastime, because this actually is set around Christmastime. I dug out sleigh bell samples for nothing? T_T
I don't have a lot to say about this one; this project was one of those rarities where everything falls into place so neatly and so quickly, and nothing you can add to it is wrong. The main guitars weren't even written for this fight specifically, I ran down the list of Y1 bosses and Nishiki just fit the best. Despite being pretty directionless as I worked on each section sequentially, I absolutely love this piece and it's possibly my favourite upload and thumbnail to date.
