Hi Everyone, This is the first of a series of 3 videos looking at 2 different versions of the Ducati 2 Valve cylinder head, this video sees me stripping down the 2003 Ducati 750 SSie heads from the engine I am rebuilding.
This type of head is found across many models in the Ducati range from the Monsters, ST2 and Multistrada to Supersport in various versions and capacities.
In the video I complete the following:
Removal of the covers
Removal of the camshaft
Remove the shims
Remove the intake and exhaust valves
Remove the opening and closing rockers
Complete a visual inspection of each head.
During the video I strip/teardown both the horizontal and vertical cylinder heads with some useful tips for those of you who are doing this work yourselves.
In this series the second video will see me also strip a set of Hypermotard 1100 heads and then the final video will see me compare the two different sets of heads and talk through the differences.
