One woman tells ITV News about how she hit "rock bottom" after starting the menopause. Jan Woodward was 47 when it began and as well as taking her confidence, said she suffered with bad memory loss.
A recent survey by the British Menopause Society found that most women experience around seven different symptoms, while 42% said their symptoms were worse or much worse than expected.
