The 2025 WASZP Games is officially underway today, with 248 competitors across four courses began racing.
The outer course, around 2.5km beyond the walls of Weymouth Harbour was by far the most challenging course, with that fleet battling waves and tide that left many of them going down the mine on the way down hill. The other two courses, and the green fleet course enjoyed much nicer conditions. But it wont be for long as the fleets are shuffled in the coming days.
With just four points separating the top seven places after today's racing, Federico Bergamasco holds a narrow going into day two.
