Hey everyone read me! 😊
I volunteered to assist in the set up of a fashion show this past weekend after learning about the event at Eat Drink Vegan back in May!
This was the third annual show hosted by Bead & Reel's and it benefitted Free the Slaves, an international nonprofit dedicated to liberating slaves and changing the conditions that allow slavery to persist.
The event was emceed by Nada Jones a consultant, entrepreneur, advocate and author.
Before the fashion show a panel was hosted by EcoSessions consisting of Kestrel Jenkins, Hoda Katebi, Jeff Denby, and Mike Farid.
The upstairs was turned into a market place for guest to discover fair trade brands as well as having a zero waste bar and food.
