The journey begins with a warning from mother nature. The monsoon rains have lasted a month longer than usual, creating cloudbursts, destroying bridges, villages, and making the roads to the sacred peaks incredibly treacherous. Its hard enough to ride in India in general, now their are even more serious risks of injury and death.

Our riders will start in Rishikesh India, the birth place of yoga then adventure to four sacred sites for freedom: Kedarnath (Death of Ego), Tungnath (Freedom in the Gap), Bardinath (Sustaining Practice), Hemkund Sahib (Freedom through Purpose) and a special trip to the Hidden Valley of the Flowers (Personal Power is Freedom). Their quest is for nothing less than Freedom.

Our characters include Jeff and Jen who are on the verge of a divorce and trying to salvage their marriage. Fred is a 75 year old man who hasn't ridden a moto in 40 years and a retired lawyer that wants to understand what i means to be human. Elle has never ridden a motorcycle but saw the Highest pass and figured she could learn just like Adam. Ryan suffers from seizures, but was cleared just 2 months before the journey. He seeks peace, but will realize he must accept his power to do so. The series is narrated by Adam Schomer, the director of the series and a rider that also provides us insights to the teacher student relationship, especially that of a westerner with an Indian guru who is younger than himself.


Our guide on this pilgrimage is Anand Mehrotra, who is deeply wise, but playfully fun and obviously adventurous. He was the star of The Highest Pass, featured in the documentary AWAKE, the TV Series Yogic Paths, and is the founder of the Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, Sattva Connect, The Sattva Foundation, and the Sattva Kushi Project.



Our narrator and director is Adam Schomer, known for directing the documentaries THE HIGHEST PASS, ONE LITTLE PILL, and THE POLYGON, producing WOMEN OF THE WHITE BUFFALO, and producing the hid documentary HEAL, now on Netflix.
