Process of servicing a set of Ohlins forks of an Aprilia RSV1000 FACTORY R from 2008 . Bike was brought in by our customer with severe leaks and poor damping. During the ownership of this motorcycle the owner never had his forks serviced either .
Please like , subscribe, follow and share this post if you liked it . It is indeed quite long footage but we fast forwarded the videos 2X and cut out cleaning and other irrelevant processes but I hope it will be useful to someone.
We used original Aprilia fork seals and Ohlins oil , and in the end we set the forks to factory damping settings as the customer had his adjusters fully out and no control over his damping . More than sure he will be very pleased !
